Burnt Burnt Burnt!!!!
.:Croaking to "You Raised Me Up", Josh Groban:.
Horror of horrors!!!
Almost didn't manage to watch the Finals today...
Apparently my fren's fren
(The one who supplied the free tickets, to whom I'm eternally grateful!)
She kinda made a mistake....
'Cause the tickets were meant only for one session only,
Meaning to say we were only allowed to watch either
Saturday's games or Sunday's Finals...
So we were like stuck out there for a while
Before the nice ladies at the reception counter
Gave us the free tickets anyway...
God's grace lah I say!!!
So in the end,
1 guy and 4 belles managed to sneak into the stadium and watch the action!!!
So Canuf, no worries yeah? *grins*
Anyway, the 5 of us were like baking in the freaking sun...
Yours sincerely was the worse hit,
'Cause the ladies were smart to use the umbrellas to create a temporary shade,
And I was left to cook!!!
Ok, so did the poor sisters...
Now I know how it feels being cooked by cannibals....
But the games were fantastic!!!
Cept' the ones Singapore played...
They were a torture to watch...
Too many butterfingers and solo artists
Trying to right the wrong themselves...
They dun get it that its a team effort!!!
All Blacks totalled the Beefeaters to clinch the coveted titled Cup,
While Australia lost the game to Samoa and also the Competition's Bowl
France thrashed Canada*Sigh* to claim the Shield
And Taiwan beat China to keep the Plate...
Sounds like some cutlery collection race eh???
What's next? Fork and Spoons????
Or maybe teapots??
Actually IMO, I think the whole event's like some
Zouk out party event!!!
It was like "Mambo Afternoon" out there this afternoon!
All the retro songs and all... Damn cool!!! *Lol*
Btw Glenn,
Before I forget, the song that we were looking is called,
"The Blowers' Daughter", Damien Rice.
Well, so happy now!!!!
Just found a kaki to join me at Sentosa... hahaha....
Too bad only one....
Not enough to even form a team...
Ahhhh....
Just applied my sis' "Oil of Olay",
[Everyone shout "Ole!"]
Lame I know....
Damn soothing now...
Gonna die peeling myself over the next few days I tell you!
Okay...
Now officially starting on the recruitment and fund-raising for the
Habitat for Humanity project...
Anyone got any extra cash to spare?
Donate leh....
The team is going up on
June 5th and coming back on June 12th...
The place we're going to is called
"Yobdjarkata"... Good luck pronouncing it...
Yawns... Good nite ppl...
And myself in the future!!!
