This morning I said a lil' prayer to God,
Nothing spectacular,
Just to help me get through
Each time I felt helpless and hopeless.
This morning I thought of her again,
And I asked God His grace.
I asked,
"Lord, if you have prepared someone else,
Then help me see Char
Like the way I see those whom I used to have feelings for,
Where the feelings have died.
But Lord, should you have plans otherwise,
Then preserve in me,
A portion of the passion that I have for her,
But only suffice enough to flame once more when the time is right. Amen"

Then I went to church.

This is when the unusual thing happened.
As I was preparing breakfast,
Her mom came to me,
And told me how difficult it is to wake her up
On Sunday mornings to go to church.
I went,"Oh... er yah... "
Next, her mom told me to call her and wake her up...
Bewildered, I said,"Huh? Oh... Okay..."

You see,
Her mom didn't approve of us when we were together,
Nor did she talk to me much.
So this encounter was really unexpected...

I called,
But she didn't pick up.
Didn't think she would even she was awake...
Things between us has gotten really... er...
Silent...

Anyway,
Right now, God kinda piqued my interest,
And now I'm just curious how God is going to unravel this mess,
How this story is going to end...
